Dr. Lara M. Fretwell
Dr. Lara M. Fretwell attended Sylacauga High School in Alabama and continued on to Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Fretwell completed her dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She graduated top of her class as an Academy of General Dentistry scholarship recipient. As dentistry and technology advances, continuing education plays a significant role in being the best dentist possible. She restores teeth with same-day crowns and also replaces missing teeth with dental implants and implant-supported dentures.
Dr. Fretwell loves helping people achieve their dream smile. Dr. Fretwell feels it is very important that her patients are informed about their treatment and she is conscientious about performing the best treatment possible. With an outstanding sense of humor and calm chair-side manner, she makes her patients feel very comfortable.
Dr. Fretwell is a very compassionate person with a heart to serve. She balances her love of dentistry with her love of family. Dr. Fretwell has three beautiful daughters and they spend time together enjoying the girls’ passions for the swim team, gymnastics, and color guard. A fun fact about Dr. Fretwell is that she spent the summer working at Yellowstone National Park at the Old Faithful Gift Shop.
Dr. Kayla Khan
Dr. Kayla Khan grew up in Resaca, Georgia and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Associate of Foreign Language in Spanish from Dalton State College. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University where she graduated in 2018.
Dr. Khan has always had a passion for helping others, which is what led her into the field of dentistry. She enjoys providing her patients with exceptional care in order to help them achieve their dream smile.
In her free time, Dr. Khan enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog, Pablo.
